Dr. Brown was born and raised in Kansas and spent a few years working on a dude ranch in Colorado. After that she decided to go back to school, so she enrolled at a small private college in Alaska. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and then was accepted at Oklahoma State University's veterinary college. She graduated from there in May 2000 and immediately accepted a position as a vet here at North Country Animal Hospital. After almost 10 years here, she felt the need for a change and started a house call practice, which she continued until April 2017, when she purchased North Country Animal Hospital from Dr. McQuade.
