Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us . If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian on call 7 days a week to handle any urgent care your pet may need. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call immediately. Call before coming in so that a Doctor can advise you on your particular emergency and arrange to meet you at the hospital.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening but you feel your pet needs to be seen earlier than the next available appointment. On a limited basis, you may be asked to drop your pet off with us and our veterinarians will examine and treat her/him as time allows.
At North Country Animal Hospital, we can care for many types of pets:
- Pocket Pets
- Small reptiles and amphibians
North Country Animal Hospital accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Visa or CareCredit. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We encourage you to request an estimate for any scheduled visit so you can make the best choices for your pets.
Twice a year we offer a vaccination clinic at the hospital. They are usually held in October and April, although the exact date varies each year. Check the calendar on our website for exact dates and times. We also do micro-chipping at our clinics. Please note exams are not given during these clinics. Annual exams are important for your pet's over-all health, so be sure to call our hospital to set up an appointment for your pet's yearly exam.
